With degrees in Biology and Education from Queen's University Kingston, Canada, a Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine, and a Ph.D. in Small Animal Clinics from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Lisbon, she is author of several publications in national and international journals and has participated in congresses both inside and outside Portugal.
She has a special love for diagnostic imaging, having initially focused on abdominal ultrasound.
She is currently living her dream as a ECVDI resident at Vetsuisse, Bern and looks forward to a future at the forefront of veterinary diagnostic imaging.
